About the courses
These weekly drop-in classes offer guided meditation and practical advice based on Buddhist philosophy on how to solve our daily problems.
Our meditation classes can be attended on a drop-in basis, and you do not need to book in advance. Just come to whichever class you wish. They are all self-contained topics so you won’t miss anything.
The class includes an opportunity to stay for refreshments and a chat at the end.
GP Series Term 1- The art of letting go
Talks and guided meditations
Discover the peace of mind, freedom and genuine happiness that comes from learning the art of letting go of anxiety, stress, self-criticism and blame. In this series we will explore meditations and practises for daily life, to enable us to recognise these unhelpful states of mind as they arise, and learn how to let them go with confidence.
We will also explore the power of developing and maintaining a peaceful, positive outlook on life and the challenges we meet, to enable us to gradually become free of all unhealthy anxiety, stress and so forth. In this way we will come to experience a deep and lasting inner peace and happiness that cannot be disturbed by changing external conditions.
