Although death is something we will definitely have to experience and that may even come today, it remains a subject that is seldom discussed in an open or frank way.
An essential aspect of the Buddhist path of self-development is an active and conscious awareness of our own impermanence. Paradoxical though it may seem, an awareness that we may die today can lead to an inner peace and confidence.
An acceptance of our own impermanence allows us to prioritise right now what is important in life and to naturally feel love and gratitude towards others.
In addition to coming to terms with our own mortality, it is inevitable that we will at some time have to care and support family and friends as they approach the end of their lives.
In this course we will explore how to develop the courage and stability to give emotional and spiritual support to others at the time of their death.
