Find it hard to stick at meditation? This course is for you. Learn how to make meditation a habit and how to make progress on your own at home.
This course will take you step by step through the process of starting and maintaining a regular meditation practice.
You will be introduced to several different meditations that you can reproduce on your own, receive a practical explanation of the stages of Buddhist meditation practice and learn how to overcome distractions and improve concentration.
There will also be discussion on how we can carry the insights and peace we gain in our sessions into the busyness of everyday life.
This course will be perfect for the complete beginner aswell as giving more experienced meditators the opportunity to refresh and improve their practice.
Each session will start with a breathing meditation to settle the mind and then a talk exploring the topic of the week. This will be followed by a concluding meditation to help us take the teaching to heart and an opportunity to ask questions.
Everyone is welcome, no previous experience is necessary.
