Happiness is not something that comes spontaneously. We need to know what
are the causes of happiness. Once we understand these causes we are empowered
to begin our own inner training. Buddha taught the ’11 virtuous mental factors’,
these are states of mind or ways of seeing the world that give rise to peace and clarity
both now and in the future.
Each week James will give an explanation of one of these trainings, give practical
advice on how to integrate them into your everyday life and guide a meditation to take
these trainings deep into our own mind.
