and kind our fellow human beings can be it is inevitable that we reflect on the

potential of our own life.


What is ‘my’ life well spent? What is ‘my’ potential for personal greatness?


In the renowned text ‘The Bodhisattva’s Way of Life’

(Bodhsattvacharyavatara) the great enlightened Buddhist master

Shantideva answers these questions. He provides a practical guide to life

for those who are dedicated to actualise their potential and be the best

person they can be for the benefit of others.


In this seven week course James will give a short practical talk and guided

meditation on how to turn your life into the life of a

Bodhisattva – one destined for enlightenment, as well as powerful insights

taught by Buddha to enable us to transform fear, open our hearts and

deepen our connection to others. Each class is self-contained.

Class Format

what to expect

Guided Meditation

Each class begins with guided breathing meditation to help let go of distractions and settle the mind into an experience of inner peace.

Buddhist Teaching

The teacher will then give practical advice, based on the topic of the class, explaining how we can integrate Buddha’s timeless wisdom into our busy daily lives.

Discussion

The class will conclude with a second guided meditation to help us take the teaching to heart. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
